Lomin, a specialist in AI document understanding technology, announced on the 15th that it had completed building an AI OCR system to revolutionize Kyobo Life Insurance’s accident insurance claims process. In this project, Lomin applied an AI document classification model to automatically sort more than 40 types of structured and unstructured documents. In addition to handling health insurance receipts processed by the existing OCR system, Lomin developed an AI OCR system capable of processing 15 types of insurance claim documents, such as diagnosis forms, hospitalization certificates, surgery confirmation forms, and outpatient confirmation forms, for the first time in the industry.
