Lomin Inc., a leading Document AI company led by CEO Jihong Kang, announced on the 10th that it has deployed its AI OCR solution, Textscope® Studio, on a cloud-based infrastructure to streamline the business registration certificate verification process in BC Card’s merchant screening system.

Through this project, BC Card has automated the review process for approximately 700,000 to 800,000 business registration certificates annually, significantly enhancing its document processing efficiency. Textscope® Studio provides high recognition accuracy even for low-resolution scanned images and documents of various resolutions. Additionally, it enables automatic document classification and management, drastically improving processing speed compared to traditional manual reviews while meeting financial industry standards for data accuracy and security.

For this implementation, Lomin transitioned from an on-premise model to a cloud-based operational framework, offering a more flexible document automation solution. As a result, BC Card can operate the solution without the need for physical infrastructure, ensuring optimized document security and accessibility.

Lomin anticipates that this project, which initially focuses on business registration certificates, will expand to include other documents such as business permits and corporate registration certificates in the future.
