Document AI specialist Lomin (CEO Ji Hong Kang) announced on the 14th that it has received the Minister of Science and ICT Commendation for its contributions to advancing digital technology in the postal sector.

Last year, Lomin collaborated with the Korea Post to pilot an AI OCR-based handwriting recognition system, successfully demonstrating the benefits of digital transformation.

Lomin’s Document AI platform, Textscope® Studio, aims to automate manual postal operations, enhancing operational efficiency and improving the quality of customer service. The pilot projects conducted at Dongjak and Nam Bucheon post offices demonstrated the practicality of digital technology, laying a foundation for the Korea Post's future digital strategy.

Moreover, Lomin's handwriting recognition technology accurately interprets various handwriting styles, reducing document processing errors and alleviating repetitive tasks for counter staff. With features like automatic address correction and data validation, the solution enhances both the speed and accuracy of operations, improving the overall quality of counter services.
