Lomin’s Document AI Platform ‘Textscope Studio’ Recognized as an Excellent Product by the Public Procurement Service
Lomin, the only Document AI company holding both Innovation Product and NET·NEP certifications, strengthens its position in the public sector.
Document AI specialist Lomin Inc. (CEO Ji Hong Kang) announced on the 7th that its Document AI platform, ‘Textscope® Studio,’ has been designated as an Excellent Product by the Public Procurement Service (PPS).
The Excellent Product Designation Program by the PPS is a key procurement system that rigorously evaluates and selects products with outstanding performance, quality, and technology to enhance the quality of public procurement and support the market entry of innovative products. Once designated, these products can be supplied to various public institutions through non-competitive contracts for up to six years and are listed on the KONEPS online shopping mall for convenient purchase by public agencies.
The recently designated Textscope® Studio is an AI-based document recognition solution for automating document processing tasks. It allows for ▲document task automation ▲improvements in operational processes and efficiency ▲document data asset management ▲and the establishment of efficient workflows utilizing large-scale AI models.
Before receiving the Excellent Product designation, Lomin had already contributed to improving document processing efficiency in public institutions such as the Korean Intellectual Property Office, Korea Environmental Corporation, National Archives of Korea, National Institute of Health, and Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG).
At the Korean Intellectual Property Office, Textscope® Studio was deployed to build a document automation system that automatically classifies 171 types of forms and efficiently extracts key information, significantly reducing processing times and improving accuracy. Additionally, in the system used by the Korea Environmental Corporation to manage the Carbon Neutrality Point Program, it greatly improved processing speed and operational efficiency.
CEO Ji Hong Kang of Lomin commented, “We are delighted to be able to expand our provision of document automation solutions to the public sector through this Excellent Product designation. We will continue to drive R&D efforts to lead document AI innovation as a digital partner to public institutions, enabling more of them to achieve digital transformation through Lomin’s technology.”
Meanwhile, Lomin remains the only Document AI company in South Korea to hold certifications for Innovation Products (designated by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy), NEP (New Excellent Product), and NET (New Excellent Technology). This latest designation is expected to further expand its applications in the public sector.
