Lomin selected as a representative company in the 'Intelligent Document Processing Platform' performance field... Listed in Gartner Report
Document AI specialist Lomin, led by CEO Kang Ji Hong, announced on the 20th that it has been recognized as a “Top Performer” in the latest “Intelligent Document Processing Platforms” report released by global IT research firm Gartner.
The report emphasizes the growing importance of Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) platforms as essential tools for automating document-centric workflows. It provides insights into leading global IDP providers that enterprises should consider when adopting IDP solutions.
Gartner selected the top performers in four key areas—revenue size, growth rate, performance, and R&D investment—highlighting two companies in each area for a total of eight. Among these, Lomin was the only South Korean company listed, recognized as a leader in performance.
“Top Performer” companies, as classified by Gartner, meet the “Rule of 40,” a widely recognized benchmark for promising SaaS investments. This standard indicates that a company balances high growth and profitability by achieving a combined growth rate and profit margin of at least 40%, demonstrating both robust expansion and sustainable financial performance.
According to the report, “Lomin has extensive implementation and operational experience, particularly within high-demand sectors such as banking, financial services, insurance (BFSI), and public administration, where the technical challenges are significant. Driven by its innovative capabilities, the company is preparing to launch new services that integrate large language models (LLMs) with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), aiming to lead market expansion.”
CEO Kang Ji Hong remarked, “This inclusion in Gartner’s IDP report is a validation of the global competitiveness of our Textscope® Studio. We are committed to accelerating our global market strategy, leveraging our advanced technology to further strengthen our position as a leader in Document AI.”
Meanwhile, according to global research firm Market Research Future (MRFR), the global IDP market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 33.5%, reaching approximately $14.8 billion by 2030.
